Ashley has a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Mercer University. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licenced Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the state of Georgia. She is the co-leader of a counselor networking group, which serves the purpose of increasing multicultural competency with Christian clients to Mercer University graduate students. She also volunteers her time to the Cody Lane Foundation, which serves to provide individual Christian discipleship and group education for spiritual growth and development, emotional healing, and supportive counsel. She has experience with addictions, anxiety, depression, marriage and family, and grief. She has also led substance abuse and anxiety counseling groups. LaShay Dowley, MAMFT, LAPC Shay is a counselor with a special interest in group, individual, couples, and family counseling who is an interactive, solution-focused counselor. With over ten years experience in the fields of psychiatry and psychology, and as a graduate of Richmont Graduate University (formerly Psychological Studies institute) with a MA in Marriage & Family Therapy, specializing in Christian Sex Therapy, she is currently serving as practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. She holds a Masters of Arts specifically in Marriage and Family, and is the Child and Adolescent therapist for New Beginnings Counseling Center.
